Pathway Caring for Children is looking to hire a part-time licensed mental health counselor therapist at our Canton, Ohio Stark County Office.

POSITION OVERVIEW : Our licensed mental health therapist professionals are trained to work with children and their families to help overcome mental health issues, emotional difficulties, and trauma or behavioral challenges. Our staff use a variety of therapeutic techniques and interventions to assist their clients in understanding their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, as well as developing coping strategies and solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least 21 years of age.
• Bachelor's or master's degree
• Licensure by the State of Ohio in Behavioral Health Counseling and Therapy (LISW, LPCC, LSW, or LPC)
• At least six months' experience working with children.
• Valid driver's license, a safe driving record, and meet our auto insurance coverage requirements.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide Individual Counseling Sessions
• Crisis Situation Support System.
• Collaboration with agency staff
• Develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Implement prevention programs
