Job description

Heritage Village of Gladstone and Platte City is seeking a Director of Maintenance for our Assisted Living Facility located in Gladstone & Platte City, Missouri. The ideal candidate would have experience in healthcare maintenance with general knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and floor installation. HVAC experience is a plus.

Duties Include:

• Repair/replacement of faucets, toilets, and pipes
• Replacing/adding additional lighting to existing circuits
• Installation of vinyl flooring
• Drywall/painting
• Monthly fire drills, smoke detector checks, water temp checks
• Scheduling outside contractors when necessary
• PTAC part replacement
• Replacing/troubleshooting exhaust fan motors
• Light kitchen equipment repair
• Responds to and completes resident work orders, ensuring quality of service to maximum resident satisfaction
• General day-to-day maintenance

This position is full-time, Monday- Friday with the exception of being on-call for emergency problems and requires travel between two facilities. 

The candidate should be organized, outgoing, friendly, have basic computer skills, and have excellent communication skills.
