Local Caregivers (NON TRAVEL) Per Diem Position

Job Summary:
ATC - Northwest is seeking an experienced and compassionate Caregiver to join our team at our location in Springfield, Oregon. This is a full-time, individual contributor role in the healthcare/medical field. As a Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and assistance to our patients, while ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate and personalized care to patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Monitor and document patient’s physical and mental condition, as well as any changes or concerns
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, including light housekeeping and laundry services
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and the healthcare team
- Adhere to all state and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
- Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain current knowledge and skills in caregiving
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a caregiver in a healthcare/medical setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well independently and in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- COVID Vaccinated
- BLS Certification (Preferred)
- Recent PPD Test or Chest X-Ray
- Clear criminal background check(s) & drug screening
