General Summary
The Infrastructure and Application Platforms (I&AP) Portfolio Manager will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing our infrastructure projects and investments, ensuring alignment with company objectives, and delivering value to stakeholders. This role demands a strategic thinker who can manage complex portfolios, lead cross-functional teams, and drive successful outcomes.
Principal Responsibilities
- 15% - The PPM is the single point of contact and manages the Infrastructure and Application Platform project portfolio.
- 15% - Ensure adherence to the appropriate IT governance for projects and in accordance with IT guidelines, policies and practices.
- 10% - Engage with project managers and IT leaders to validate and assess the project portfolio, execute changes, and reprioritize as required. Ensure the value creation is being captured by IT Services per IT Financial processes.
- 10% - Lead regular meetings to inform and alert leaders of any issues arising from the performance of the individual projects within the portfolio to assure the on-plan usage and consumption of resources and funding, and to highlight any variances.
- 10% - Engage with vendors and offshore resources to coordinate tasks responsibilities, timelines, and deliverables.
- 10% - Lead reviews of key initiatives, projects or programs that are challenged and provide recommendations as to whether it should continue, be significantly changed, placed on hold, or discontinued.
- 10% - Ensure the oversight and coordination of dependencies across the projects and programs in the portfolio and resolve or escalate conflicts.
- 5% - Effective resource management of accountable projects while working across the IT function project portfolio to manage constraints.
- 5% - Facilitate and coordinate conversations to review demand/innovation pipeline for facilitation of selection and prioritization of projects from early stage of idea at intake.
- 5% - As directed and resourced by leadership, ensure and balance the availability of the required skills and competencies across project and program teams within the project portfolio.
- 5% - Direct the creation and maintenance of the required project portfolio documentation and artifacts.

- Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance standards in the infrastructure sector.
- Communication Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for conveying complex ideas and results effectively.
- Tech Savvy:
- Proficiency with project management and portfolio management software tools.
What you bring to the table… (Must Have)
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a computer science or information technology discipline.
- 7+ years of relevant work experience managing infrastructure projects with a specialty in two or more infrastructure disciplines: cloud IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings, network infrastructure modernization, manufacturing data centers and 3rd party hosted data centers or middleware and application platforms projects.
- 2+ years of program management and/or portfolio management experience.
- Experience managing cloud migration / lifecycle management projects.
- Deep knowledge of the ITIL practice with experience in the following disciplines: Release / Patch Management, Resource Management, Financial Management and Security Compliance Management.
It would be great if you have… (Nice to Have)
- Experience leading infrastructure projects at manufacturing plants and warehouses.
- Strong analytical, conceptual, and financial analysis skills, and familiarity with financial reporting tools.
- Proficiency with the use of reporting tools to monitor portfolio activities and analyze portfolio performance.
- Proficiency with one or more project/program management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile or Kanban) and across a range of projects and programs is a plus.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification is a plus.
Working Conditions
The role requires 0%-5% travel to Campbell’s manufacturing locations.
Compensation and Benefits:
The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between
$105,000-$172,200
Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
