Business Process Manager (BPM)
Concept Plus is hiring a Business Process Manager (BPM) that will work as part of the Engineering
Business Unit to lead and manage the enhancement of operational processes, increase efficiency,
productivity, and quality in support of our Federal Government customers and corporate operations. The
Business Process Manager works closely with Service Delivery Project Teams and Corporate Operations
Teams to assess existing processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes that drive
operational excellence.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Service Delivery Project Teams to gather insights into common practices, lessons learned, pain points and bottlenecks to continuously define and improve service delivery methodologies.
- Work closely with Service Delivery Project Teams to identify existing processes that need improvement through analysis, data collection, and feedback.
- Evaluate the efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance of current processes and practices per our organizationally defined CMMI-DEV Level 3 practices.
- Work with CP Corporate Operations Teams to develop "playbooks" ensuring SOPs and workflows are well-documented, streamlined, easily accessible and automated when possible.
- Secure buy-in for proposed process improvement changes. Identify and communicate the benefits of the process improvements and address concerns.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of processes and manage the corporate
- Document Control System.
- Collects data to measure IMS effectiveness and maintain company-wide metrics to continuously
improve performance.
- Maintain the Integrated Management System (IMS) and associated certifications (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 20000-1:2018, ISO 27001:2013 and CMMI-DEV Appraised Level 3).
- Manage IMS process improvement work items (e.g. Service Requests, Corrective Actions, Risk, and Opportunities for Improvements) through the lifecycle utilizing internal tools and application platforms.
- Maintain the corporate Integrated Management System (IMS) manuals, procedures, and all associated artifacts.
- Plan, conduct and facilitate IMS Management Reviews to corporate leadership and internal stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
- Must be a US Citizen.
- BS in Information Technology (IT), Engineering, Business, or related field
- 10+ years of working experience in the IT industry with experience in software engineering
disciplines and SDLC.
- 4+ years of experience utilizing Process Improvement methodologies (e.g., Capability Maturity
Model Integration (CMMI), ISO 9000, Six Sigma, Agile).
- Demonstrated experience on project teams implementing technology solutions and development/implementation of new work processes or process improvements.
- Demonstrated experience leading and maintaining CMMI-DEV Level 3 programs in an Agile
software development environment.
- Demonstrated experience leading and conducting internal CMMI appraisals and/or quality
assurance reviews.
Preferred Qualifications
- CMMI Certification (e.g. Associate, Practitioner).
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)
- ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor certifications.
- Experience leading and maintaining ISO 9001, ISO 20000-1, ISO 27001 programs.
- Experience supporting external ISO audits and CMMI appraisals.
- Experience with audit report writing.
- Experience with Google Workspace (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms), Atlassian (Jira,
Confluence, Bitbucket, Service Management).
