Job Summary

Oversee strategic, regulatory, and advocacy communications programs to achieve PSEG Nuclear's business goals and enhance its reputation. The role is responsible for supporting communications in campaigns that leverage traditional and new channels to advance the nuclear's objectives and regulatory goals at the local, state and federal level. Success requires working across a matrixed organization to engage a broad range of internal and external stakeholders strategically. The individual will work closely with the Corporate Communications group, station plant managers, executive leadership team, and other key stakeholders across the company. 

THE ROLE--Working on-site and across the state, partner with senior leaders at Hope Creek and Salem and the nuclear executive leadership team to oversee the development and implemention of communications that raise awareness of PSEG Nuclear’s achievements. -- Collaborate with station leadership and workforce members to present nuclear performance, deliver strategic messages, and promote nuclear safety culture attributes. Communicate policy positions, work with the communications team and key internal stakeholders--Design and develop advocacy platforms that leverage traditional and new communication strategies to reach, inform and mobilize key audiences to amplify key messages--Oversee the development of internal communication tools such as Nuclear Online, weekly alignment messages, talking points, leadership messages, presentations for INPO, NRC, NSRB, etc., briefing documents and digital content that effectively engage various audiences--Advise business partners, executives and stakeholders on communication approaches that nurture relationships with key stakeholders--Anticipate and mitigate issues and crises, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to respond--Collaborate and align with Corporate Communications around external media opportunities specific to Nuclear--Collaborate and coordinate with Corporate Corporate on branding, look and feel to ensure consistency and alignment--Monitor performance and optimize tactics to improve performance.
