Business Process Analyst

TQI Solutions is actively seeking a collaborative and skilled Business Process Analyst to join our dedicated NAVAIR team. As a key contributor, you will provide crucial support to our esteemed client located in Chesapeake, VA.
Responsibilities:
• Facilitate requirements elaboration sessions among stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business processes.
• Provide technical and analytical support for defining and documenting requirements.
• Offer guidance in mission needs and requirements analysis, concept of operations development, program tradeoff analysis, and program roadmap creation, including technology insertion, platform integration, and support planning.
• Evaluate existing requirements for clarity, validity, structure, verifiability, and applicability.
• Analyze program documentation to identify gaps in requirements and develop action plans to address them.
• Develop process flow charts and functional flow diagrams to support requirements capture, following established policies and instructions.
• Assist in categorizing system requirements for input into a requirements management system.
• Aid in developing and implementing metrics and reports to track requirements status and traceability for each program.
This is a full time, salaried, exempt position.
Requirements
• Bachelor's in IT related field (preferred); Business (secondary).
• 3-5 years' DoD or federal agency Naval Aviation Depot/Organizational level maintenance.
• 5 years' IT related business analysis and requirements development.
• Knowledge of Supply Chain Management, Financial Management, Workforce Management, and Data Systems related to Aviation Maintenance.
• Intermediate proficiency of MS Office Suite, including Visio and Project.
• Capable of deriving system requirements based on client input.
• Familiarity with system development, design, and integration, especially in relation to Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and Government Off-The-Shelf (GOTS) systems.
• Able to analyze existing business processes, pinpoint inefficiencies, and design future state processes accordingly.
• Experience or knowledge in developing and maintaining taxonomies
• Proven experience in OOMA, OIMA, IFS.
• Understanding of the IT Software Development Lifecycle, IT Management, and associated software engineering principles, including Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies.
Desired Qualifications
• Previous experience with Business Process Modeling (BPM).
• Familiarity of System Engineering principles.
• Familiarity with NAVAIR/NAWCAD and NAVSEA functions and initiatives.
• Prior experience using Innoslate software.
