Job description
The LPN is a technical caregiver who administers nursing care under the direct supervision of a registered professional nurse. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: Medication administration, group facilitation, vital signs and blood glucose monitoring, assisting with ADLs, documentation, and ensuring a safe milieu through safety rounds and 1:1 observation.
Qualifications:
*Graduated from an accredited program of Practical Nursing.*Licensed by the New Jersey State Board of Nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
*Maintains required Heart Saver CPR Certification/course completion status.
*Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills.
*Prior experience in a behavioral health setting helpful.

The Barnabas Health Behavioral Health Center (with Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus Behavioral Health Services) constitutes a freestanding 100-bed acute care psychiatric facility which provides inpatient and intensive outpatient programs for adults and older adults diagnosed with psychiatric and dual disorders.
