Job Title: Director of Advancement
Reports To: Director of City on a Hill
Salary: This full-time, competitively compensated senior position will receive a base salary of 80k-100k commensurate with experience, along with an incentive structure.
Mission: City on a Hill seeks to be the community that inspires and forms the young adult generation to be saints! It began as a ministry of the Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph. Fifteen years later in 2021, City on a Hill became an independent 501(c)3 organization and lay apostolate. Now, the apostolate is preparing for expansion to other markets.
"City on a Hill has grown from a ground-breaking ministry with a few dozen people to a community that annually reaches over 2,500 young adults, 600 of whom are well-engaged participants. City on a Hill's leadership has proven itself through expertly managed events, leadership and disciple-making trainings, small groups, two annual mission and adventure trips, a growing and effective social media presence, and a popular podcast. City on a Hill is credited with more than 100 marriages, more than 200 adults who have entered into regular spiritual direction and at least a half dozen vocations to the seminary or religious life."
--Bishop James V. Johnston, Jr., Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph
