Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician I to join our team at our facility located in Perrysburg, OH. As a Maintenance Technician I, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting various equipment and systems in a manufacturing environment. Your expertise in Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, hydraulics, pneumatics, and creating preventive maintenance plans will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) systems.
- Create and implement preventive maintenance plans to minimize downtime.
- Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
- Collaborate with other team members to diagnose and resolve equipment problems.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Continuously update knowledge and skills through training and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) systems.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot PLC systems effectively.
- Experience in creating preventive maintenance plans.
- Excellent mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Proficient in electrical troubleshooting.
- Prior experience with hydraulics in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with pneumatic systems.
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment.
