Here is what you will be doing:
- Efficient and accurate work in accordance with dealership's and factory standards
- Complete system diagnostics and full automotive troubleshooting and testing
- Maintain an organized shop area
- Comply with company safety policies and procedures
- Communicate directly with service advisors regarding the status of the service work
- Continuously learn new technical information and techniques
- Perform tasks such as replacing oil or lubricating equipment.
- Inspect, replace and/or repair damaged and malfunctioning parts.
- Interpret diagnostic test results.
- Use hydraulic machinery to lift large equipment and vehicles.
- Inspect the parts and systems that make up the vehicle.
- Perform test drives to ensure the vehicle is working properly or troubleshoot.

Here is what you will need:
- Advanced knowledge of a vehicle, its electrical system and the mechanisms of a diesel engine
- In-depth knowledge of diesel engine components and operational mechanisms
- Superior knowledge of maintenance tools and repair equipment
- Comfortable using mechanical and electrical power tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of computer systems and other relevant electronics
- Proficiency in the use of diesel engine diagnostic software
- Submit to and successfully complete MVR, background check, and pre-employment drug test.
- Valid driver’s license
- Good interpersonal skills
- Effective collaboration and communication skills
