Kentucky Organ Donor Affiliates (KODA) is seeking a Partnership Services Liaison to join our Huntington, WV team! The Partnership Services Liaison (PSL) is responsible for activities related to the promotion of organ and tissue donation and transplantation among health care professionals and hospitals. These duties include partner services in assigned hospitals, related professional program planning and implementation, and various administrative duties. Other duties include conducting on-site assessment and evaluation of potential organ donors and following referrals in assigned area. Occasional family support may be required. Considerable travel required.

Working environment and conditions

• This position requires working within an indoor, normal office and hospital environment. The noise level in the work environment is typically low.
• Extensive automobile travel within the KODA service area is expected.
• This position requires working extended periods with few breaks.
• Occasional overtime is required. Occasional nights, weekends, evenings are required for service to hospitals and other partners.
• Must be able to work in an unsupervised work setting.

Education, experience and training

• Education: Bachelor's degree required in healthcare, education, public relations, business, social work or marketing. Exceptional work experience may be substituted for education requirements.
• Experience: Three years' experience in health care, marketing, communications, business, development, social work or teaching required. Candidates must have excellent written and verbal communications skills. Direct clinical experience in a health care setting preferred. Experience with EMR desired.
