ZIPS Cleaners provides a revolutionary same-day dry cleaning experience that maintains high-quality services at one low price for any garment. ZIPS also takes care of all other fabricare needs including pressed laundry, wash & fold, household items such as blankets and comforters, and even alterations!

Counter Associates are responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all customers. The duties also include accurately taking in (drop off) and returning (pick up) items through the ZIPS point of sale system and processing payment. Counter Associates facilitate the main interaction between ZIPS and its customers. After taking garments in, Counter Associates tag the garments and other items in a timely manner. This process is critical to the workflow and productivity for the Production Team.
Essential Job Functions
- Perform all opening and closing duties as assigned.
- Assist Customers in a courteous, enthusiastic, helpful and timely manner.
- Use the ZIPS Point of Sale system and accurately perform all functions.
- Follow established Customer drop-off & pick-up procedures.
- Effectively tag garments and other items using ZIPS procedures.
- Maintaining tagging speed standards while staying accurate.
- Follow all ZIPS procedures, safety and security guidelines.
- Assist with other duties throughout the store, as assigned.
Operating Hours & Shifts
- ZIPS is open Monday to Friday from 7am-7pm.
- ZIPS is open Saturdays from 8am-7pm.
- Counter Associate shifts are typically 4-6 hours
- Shifts are typically morning (7am-1pm), mid-shift (10am-2pm), or afternoon (1pm-7pm).
- We are looking for full (up to 40 hours) and part time (flexible hours).
