Job description

Summary

The Wound Healing Center Advanced Practice Registered Nurse/Physician Assistant provides specialty care, and chronic and acute care health care services to patients throughout the lifespan. Functions in a specialty practice of the Concord Hospital Medical Group (CHMG) settings including office, community outreach, and inpatient. Patient care is provided in collaboration with Wound Healing Center physician.

Education

Five to six years of formal training or education beyond the high school level (e.g., Masters Degree or five year program).

Certification, Registration, and Licensure

Certification required to obtain: Wound Certification within 3 years of hire date.

Licensure required: NH license as APRN or PA, and current DEA license.

Experience

Prior wound care specialty and/or site specific experience may be required based on the practice setting. New graduates may be considered with prior wound care experience.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include color vision, depth perception, far vision, and near vision.

The employee is frequently exposed to bloodborne pathogens, and bodily fluids. The employee is occasionally exposed to airborne contaminants, airborne pathogens, toxic or caustic chemicals, and vibration.

The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
