Position Overview:
We're in search of a proactive individual to join our team as an Education and Library Sales Consultant, focusing on the West Texas and Texas Panhandle region. In this role, you'll nurture existing client relationships while cultivating new ones through engaging presentations and product demonstrations. Your responsibilities will include:

Collaborating with the Regional Sales Manager to devise effective sales strategies within your designated territory.
Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through targeted outreach and sales calls.
Cultivating enduring relationships with both existing and prospective clients.
Conducting regular travel within your territory to connect with clients and showcase our offerings.
Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of our products to deliver compelling presentations.
Representing our company at local and state-level trade shows.
This position operates as an Independent Contractor.

Qualifications:
We're seeking candidates with a knack for connecting with individuals in the education and public library sectors, including Librarians, Curriculum Coordinators, Principals, and Teachers. The ideal candidate will also possess:

A proven track record in sales, with a focus on acquiring and retaining new accounts.
Strong communication skills, including active listening and public speaking abilities.
Self-motivation and initiative to drive sales efforts independently.
Proficiency in prospecting and cold calling techniques.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel).
Access to reliable transportation and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
A college degree is preferred, and candidates with backgrounds in education, library sciences, or teaching are encouraged to apply.
