Job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled engineer to join our team in a dynamic onsite role. As an Onsite Engineer, you will play a crucial role in configuring a ThinManager server application, seamlessly integrating it with Rockwell PlantPAx and FactoryTalk View SE, and setting up a PXE boot server for zero client devices. The duration of the project will be tailored to the complexity of the environment and specific client needs, with an estimated timeline of approximately 10 weeks.

Key Responsibilities:
Configure and administer ThinManager to ensure optimal performance.
Integrate ThinManager with Rockwell PlantPAx and FactoryTalk View SE applications.
Establish and maintain a PXE boot server for zero client devices.
Collaborate with clients to understand and meet their unique requirements.
Adhere to network troubleshooting and security best practices throughout the project.

Required Skills and Knowledge:
Proven experience in ThinManager configuration and administration.
Strong understanding of Remote Desktop Services and licensing.
Knowledge of network troubleshooting techniques and security best practices.
Familiarity with Rockwell PlantPAx and FactoryTalk View SE applications (preferred).
Basic understanding of S88 standards (desirable).

Nice to Have Skills and Knowledge:
Experience with DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps (Boards, Repos, Pipelines, Test Plans).
Proficiency in Git version control software.
Understanding of Agile development methodologies.

Job Type: Contract
Salary: $55.00 - $64.28 per hour

Experience Required:
Minimum 3 years of experience in ThinManager (Preferred)

Location:
This position is based in Marlborough, MA, and requires relocation before starting work.
