Accountant

Company Overview: Pneumatech Safety Systems is a rapidly growing upstream oil and gas company. We are based in Tyler, Texas and are currently looking to add an accountant to our team.

Position Overview: We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and degreed accountant to join our team. The candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, invoicing, and contributing to the overall success of our accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Account Receivable & Invoicing

• Sending and verifying invoices for goods and services
• Manage the accounts receivable process, including tracking and collecting payments.
• Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts.
• Collaborate with the team to address customer inquiries and resolve payment issues.

2. Bookeeping

• Reconcile and record financial transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial record.

3. Financial Reporting:

• Prepare regular financial reports to support decision-making processes.
• Provide insights into financial performance and trends.

4. Collaboration:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and efficient financial operations.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience in accounting field preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
