The Opportunity Lonestar Forklift is looking for a
Used Equipment Sales Representative to join our team in
Houston, Texas . In this role, you will be responsible for building a customer base in your assigned territory.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities - As the Used Equipment Sales Representative for Lonestar, your key responsibilities will include:
- Target and acquire new business
- Identify the decision makers and key stakeholders within prospective organizations
- Prospect for potential customers, including conducting tactful and professional phone calls
- Conduct in-person sales presentations
- Utilize the CRM database to record pertinent customer information
- Manage customer relationships throughout the sales cycle
- Utilize technical support as needed to solve customer challenges
- Communicate with mechanics, the Parts department, and customers
- Generate opportunities within your territory by executing against your territory plan, uncovering leads for the inside sales team to quote and close
Required Skills & Qualifications - The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:
- Strong verbal communication skills required, including excellent phone communication skills
- Highly organized with strong time management skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and a highly motivated self-starter
- Confident and resilient, with a willingness to continuously learn and grow
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and Excel
- Maintaining a valid driver’s license is required

The base pay range for this role is: $40,000 salary, plus uncapped commission.
