Maintenance Mechanic Details:
- Temp-to-Hire position
- $30.00 / hour
- Full Time work available
- Various shifts available
- Performs journey level maintenance and repairs for production operations and machinery.
- Troubleshoots, maintains, fabricates, supports and assists with repairs to production floor equipment. ?
- Performs preventative maintenance on all minor and major pieces of equipment related to production/facilities. ?
- Conduct repairs and preventative maintenance on the facility structure and surrounding grounds. ?
- Complies with all equipment, safety, and OSHA rules and regulations as well as current Good Manufacturing Practices. ?
- Assist with all process improvements projects and meeting all defined production/quality standards, Company KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to include, but are not limited to safety, quality, cost and service.
Maintenance Mechanic Qualifications:
- 5-7 years as a maintenance mechanic in a manufacturing environment ?
- Forklift certification preferred ?
- Form, fill, and seal packaging equipment experience preferred (HMC, Bartelt, etc) ?
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving history ?
- Candidates must understand and show a working knowledge of;
- o Manufacturing equipment
- o Electrical and Mechanical Troubleshooting
- o Process Controls
- Reading Schematics and Symbols
- o Basic use of tools and measuring devices
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
