Job description

Since 1994, we have been a trusted provider of extended warranty and consumer protection products to dealerships, agencies, and manufacturers.

We are looking for a Senior accountant with a few years of accounting experience who is on the career path to becoming a CPA. One of our values here is to attract, develop, and retain top talent and we are looking for a high-activity self-starter who demonstrates a problem-solving attitude and can work independently in a fast-paced environment.

What You Will Be Doing

- Assist with consolidated group monthly Financial Statements
- Prepare month-end journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly commission statements, and payments and perform the reconciliation.
- Bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Provide outside auditors with assistance; gather necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit.
- Special projects as assigned.

What You Need for this Position

A Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance or similar and 3+ years with:
- GAAP
- Financial Reporting
- Financial Statements
- Month End Close
- Reconciliations
- Commission Accounting
- Annual Audit
