We are seeking a results-driven and experienced individual to join our team as an Operations Lead for our Cider Mill and Bakery operations. Position: Operations Lead - Cider Mill and Bakery
Location: Olympia, WA
Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee daily operations of our Cider Mill and Bakery, ensuring the seamless production and delivery of high-quality products.
- Develop, implement, and optimize operational policies, processes, and workflows to enhance efficiency and uphold product standards.
- Collaborate with department heads in both the Cider Mill and Bakery to streamline interdepartmental communications and ensure a cohesive and synchronized operational approach.
- Analyze production and data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance overall operational performance.
- Lead and motivate cross-functional teams in both the Cider Mill and Bakery, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and industry standards by maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels of cider and bakery ingredients, coordinate with suppliers, and implement inventory control measures.
- May also be asked to oversee operations of Farm Hands, as well.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to set operational goals, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and report on achievements.
- Identify training needs and provide ongoing development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and competencies.
- Implement and maintain safety protocols, ensuring a secure working environment for all team members in both the Cider Mill and Bakery.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in operations management, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to interact with team members at all levels.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and compliance requirements specific to the cider and bakery industry.
- Proficiency in project management and process optimization.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
