Job description
We are seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney to join our team of professionals. The successful candidate will provide legal counsel and representation to clients in matters related to family law and divorce. Position overview: The Family Law Attorney will primarily be responsible for providing legal advice and advocacy to clients in matters related to divorce and family law. The Attorney will also be responsible for drafting motions, pleadings, contracts, and other legal documents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal counsel to clients in all aspects of family law and divorce proceedings
- Negotiate settlements and reach agreements with opposing counsel
- Conduct legal research and provide advice on applicable laws, regulations, and court precedents
- Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and hearings
- Draft and file motions, pleadings, contracts, and other legal documents
- Advocate for the client's best interests during negotiations and court proceedings
- Provide accurate and timely advice to clients on all legal matters
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Licensed to practice law in the state(s) in which work is to be provided
- 3+ years of experience practicing family law
- Strong knowledge of applicable family law statutes and case law
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Benefits - Competitive Base Salary: $120,000 - $220,000
