Job description
The Head Artisan Baker is responsible for overseeing the production of high-quality artisanal bread and bakery and pastry products. This role combines culinary expertise, leadership skills, and a passion for creating baked goods. The Head Artisan Baker ensures that all bakery operations run smoothly, maintains quality control, and manages a team of bakers. *Must have prior bread baking experience*

Key Responsibilities:
Bakery Production:
- Develop and follow artisanal recipes for various bread and pastry products.
- Prepare dough, ferment, shape, and bake a wide range of artisanal breads.
- Create and implement new product ideas and variations.
- Ensure consistent product quality and taste.
Team Management:
- Recruit, train, and supervise bakery staff.
- Schedule shifts, assign tasks, and provide guidance to maintain efficient production.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Quality Control:
- Maintain high standards for ingredient quality and freshness.
- Monitor and control baking processes to ensure product consistency and taste.
- Conduct regular quality checks and address any issues promptly.
Safety and Sanitation:
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized bakery environment.
- Train staff in safe food handling practices.
Menu Development:
- Collaborate with management to develop and update the bakery menu.
