WEEKEND ONLY OR EXTENDED HOUR OPPORTUNITIES - DE / MD Experienced Urgent Care Physicians
Are you interested in providing weekend coverage, OR do you enjoy working those "off' shifts for premium pay? We offer two choices for Weekend roles: 1) Every Weekend (Eight shifts in a four-week block): Every weekend would be considered a .625 FTE. This position is salaried and would enjoy a bonus, Daily Volume Bonuses, Quarterly Bonus and would include ChristianaCare benefits, including retirement matching, CME, PTO. You would be able to pick up additional shifts, if they are available at the per diem rate.
2) Every Other Weekend (Four shifts in a four-week block): If you prefer every other weekend (or four shifts a month), you will be considered a per diem provider and will be paid an hourly per diem rate.
*We will also be offering "Swing Shifts" for extended hour centers! Premium rates will apply. Hours will be Noon to Midnight, OR 8 a.m. to Midnight hours. Openings currently are out of our two Maryland locations (North East and Elkton) and our Central Delaware Region, which includes our Glasgow, STAR and Bear locations.
Twelve-hour shift locations are open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. - Extended Hour centers will be open until Midnight. ChristianaCare , one of the nation's leading health care providers, and

We provide a different type of urgent care experience for our dedicated providers who are doing the work they love. Our practice model brings together board certified Physicians and Advanced Practitioners in innovative treatment centers, with the resources and support of ChristianaCare behind them. We are the front door to quality connected care.
ChristianaCare-GoHealth Urgent Care currently has 12 locations: 10 in Delaware and 2 in Maryland.
GoHealth Urgent Care is a different kind of practice. - Partnering with ChristianaCare allows us to offer continuity for patient care through access to extensive resources and specialists, including shared advanced EMR (eClinicalWorks) that is fully integrated with ChristianaCare.
- Work in our beautiful award-winning state-of-the-art centers that are provider/patient-friendly and equipped with imaging, labs and on-site staff of Rad Techs, highly trained Medical Assistants and Scribes. We have the ability to flex up and down for patient volumes.
- Our patient satisfaction scores validate our focus on the quality of care.
Minimum Qualifications: - At least one-year recent full-time experience in urgent care or emergency medicine preferred.
- Board certified and able to be licensed in the state of DE and/or MD
- Comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.), reading EKGs, X-rays and seeing all ages.
