Job description
NYC Alliance Company LLC is seeking an ambitious, enthusiastic candidate for the role of Assistant Store Manager. As a leading, vertically-integrated, multi-channel apparel company, we're looking for an individual who can align with our vision and passion for fashion and create a positive, engaging shopping experience for our valued customers.
The Assistant Store Manager will work alongside the Store Manager to manage daily operations, foster a dynamic team culture, and create an exceptional in-store experience for our customers. This role will play a key part in the success of our business and will be responsible for achieving sales targets, overseeing in-store merchandising, and maintaining inventory levels.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with daily store operations, such as scheduling, recruitment, and training of staff
- Assisting with in-store merchandising, including window displays and interior displays
- Supporting sales associates with customer service, sales, and product knowledge
- Assisting with inventory management and ordering stock when required
- Coordinating special events and promotions
- Ensuring a safe and organized store environment
- Providing regular feedback to the Store Manager for sales progress and areas for improvement
Requirements
- A minimum of one year of experience in a retail management role
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- High level of customer service skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to analyze sales reports and provide strategic recommendations
- Knowledge of store operations, including merchandising, inventory management, and recruitment
- A passion for fashion and industry trends
