Job description

The National Lighthouse Museum Education Coordinator is responsible for developing and carrying out the museum's various educational programs, with a particular emphasis on Marine Science and Lighthouse Technology and History, utilizing a STEAM based curricula. This position is also tasked with maintaining an awareness of current trends in education and ongoing professional development opportunities available to enhance their teaching skills, knowledge base and the institution's program offerings. The Education Coordinator will assist with community outreach programs, as necessary. This position will work closely with a highly collaborative museum staff to implement the above goals.
