Job description

Responsibilities: - Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers - Take customer orders and provide recommendations on drink selections - Maintain a clean and organized bar area - Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol - Adhere to all food safety and beverage service regulations - Handle cash transactions and operate a cash register - Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner - Monitor customer behavior and intervene as needed to maintain a safe and enjoyable atmosphere - Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient bar operations

Experience:
Previous experience as a bartender or in the food service industry is preferred
Knowledge of different drink recipes and mixology techniques
Familiarity with cash handling procedures
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Strong time management skills to ensure prompt service to customers
Basic math skills for calculating bills and making change

Skills:
Banquet experience is a plus, as bartenders may be required to serve at special events or private parties - Food handling knowledge is important for bartenders who may be required to prepare garnishes or handle food items in accordance with health regulations
Familiarity with brewing techniques is helpful for bartenders who work in establishments that offer craft beers or specialty brews
