We are seeking an Automation Controls Engineer to become an integral part of our team! You will assist in the research design and development of electrical components and systems.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and install electrical components and systems.
  
• Assess and modify existing power distribution systems.
  
• Troubleshoot relay and data system designs.
  
• Research and document relay test results.
  
• Track project timelines to complete tasks on schedule.
  
• Ensure reliable operation of equipment.
  

Willingness to travel:

50% (Preferred)

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

• Degree in EET or BSEE required.
• AutoCAD experience.
• Control panel design & drafting.
• Instrumentation (a plus but not required).
• Programming (a plus but not required).
• Plant experience a plus.
• Ability to rehab & work on a wide variety of machines & selfeducate is a must.
• Estimating electrical engineering projects.
• Project management.
• Familiarity with electrical diagnostic equipment.
• Knowledge of relay design standards.
• Excellent root cause analysis skills.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask.

Experience:

• Process engineering: 3 years (Preferred).
• Electrical design: 2 years (Preferred).
• Project Estimation: 2 years (Preferred).
• AutoCAD: 1 year (Preferred).

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities BS in Civil Engineering or technical equivalent 6+ years of engineering design consulting experience. Good supervisory skills; strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills; and excellent project management knowledge and/or experience. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and technical software. Valid Driver\'s License. Professional Engineering License.
