We are seeking an Automation Controls Engineer to become an integral part of our team! You will assist in the research design and development of electrical components and systems.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and install electrical components and systems.
- Assess and modify existing power distribution systems.
- Troubleshoot relay and data system designs.
- Research and document relay test results.
- Track project timelines to complete tasks on schedule.
- Ensure reliable operation of equipment.
Willingness to travel:
50% (Preferred)
Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
- Degree in EET or BSEE required.
- AutoCAD experience.
- Control panel design & drafting.
- Instrumentation (a plus but not required).
- Programming (a plus but not required).
- Plant experience a plus.
- Ability to rehab & work on a wide variety of machines & selfeducate is a must.
- Estimating electrical engineering projects.
- Project management.
- Familiarity with electrical diagnostic equipment.
- Knowledge of relay design standards.
- Excellent root cause analysis skills.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask.
Experience:
- Process engineering: 3 years (Preferred).
- Electrical design: 2 years (Preferred).
- Project Estimation: 2 years (Preferred).
- AutoCAD: 1 year (Preferred).

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities BS in Civil Engineering or technical equivalent 6+ years of engineering design consulting experience. Good supervisory skills; strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills; and excellent project management knowledge and/or experience. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and technical software. Valid Driver\'s License. Professional Engineering License.
