Job description
Our Client: We are working with a $400M global company with manufacturing and sales offices around the world. The Controller is looking for a candidate with a B.S. in Accounting and 3-4 years of GL experience. Heavy amount of balance sheet reconciliations required for month end close.
Location: Marlton, NJ - Hybrid 3:2 after 90-days
Responsibilities:
- Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
- Reconcile intercompany transactions. Coordinating with subsidiaries to ensure transactions have been booked on their financials
- Assist with the internal and external annual audit process. Review of documented controls for Sarbanes Oxley requirements
- Monthly review of both balance sheet and income statement transactions for accuracy
- Assist Controller and Finance team with internal initiatives within the department
- Research and analyze expense variances for company employees through their travel and expense reports.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years' of professional accounting experience
- 3+ years' Experience with MS Office Suite especially Excel
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience
- CPA preferred
- Hybrid Work Environment
