Head of Plant Controlling OI-US

Duties :                   Coordinate and supervise all plant controlling activities related to financial processes including Budget, Forecast, Strategic Planning, Reporting, and month close end and year close end. Support plant controllers in their professional development and recognize general needs for continuing education in their own field within the company. Plan and conduct internal and external training on complex topics, both domestically and in other countries. Lead analysis activities including plan/actual comparisons in cost and performance accounting for cost centers and cost units, and for the appropriate division or company and conduct standard analysis and ad hoc analysis. Lead and drive all IS plant controlling related commenting of monthly results per given group or local management schedule. Contact all plant related IS segment requests out of the group or local management. Drive all system uploads (SAP, TM1) for planning purposes for the Mexican and Unites States legal entities and ensure completion of all milestones according to group budget timeline. Remote work is permitted within reasonable commuting distance of the Livermore, CA office. This position requires 10% domestic and 10% international travel.

Salary: $142,500-$162,000/year

Requirements:   Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or a closely related field and five (5) years of experience as a Plant Controller, Site Controller, Functional Controller or a closely related role.

Special Skills:  Also requires five (5) years of experience in the following

• SAP CO Module and SAP FI / MM Module;
• ISO 14001-2015 / ISO 45001:2018;
• IATF 16949:2016 Standard;
• Budget and Forecasting, General Accounting, Financial Analysis, and Cost Accounting;
• Lean Manufacturing;
• Statistical Tools;
• Risk Analysis;
• Site parameters and KPIs including CAPEX, local assets, material consumption, material on stock, inventories, site forecast, site planning, and value stream;
• Lean Management and Continuous Improvement Know-How;
• Coordination and support of internal finance cluster projects; and
• PIV report (target-actual comparison).
