NUVIA UK's Technical Services department are recruiting for an experienced Senior or Principal EC&I Engineers. This is an embedded opportunity, supporting one of our leading clients within the nuclear industry. Location wise, you will be based out of our client's office at Birchwood Park, Warrington. We are able to recruit on either a contract (Inside IR35) or permanent basis.

Please note the ability to obtain BPSS level security clearance is essential, as a minimum.

Project Description:

RHILW is the Remote Handle-able Intermediate Level Waste Project. The scope is to create a new ILW route to support future decommissioning activities on Sellafield. The CE&I scope is primarily to enable import of the waste into an existing facilit which includes modificaitons to control systems and substantiation of existing and new equipment against any new safety case claims.

Role Description:

• A Principal or Senior Engineer is initially required to deliver the appraise and select phase CE&I Design for the RHILW Project.
• The Engineer will be required to lead a team of CE&I engineers and designers in the delivery of design packages for current and future design stages.

Essential Experience & Qualifications:

As the project requires the development of new waste route and modifications to an existing facility, a broad experience of the CE&I discipline areas of expertise is required, including:

• Management of design delivery teams
• CE&I Safety Systems e.g. ES_1_2190 and BS EN 13849
• Estimate & schedule production and progress reporting.
• Electrical Services
• Pre-Enabling works
• Understand the deliverables of each CE&I areas including Safety Systems, Envirnomental Montoring, Security, Electrical Power and Lighting, Fire Systems, Control Systems and other Services Instrumentations as a minimum.
