The Clinical Manager at Cayuga Cancer Center works with the director of oncology and the multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide quality patient outcomes and satisfaction. The Clinical Nurse Manager has overall administrative responsibilities for clinical operations to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care. This position requires a combination of clinical expertise, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of cancer care protocols. This person demonstrates professional accountability by maintaining proficiency in assigned role and involvement in professional organizations. Pitches in when help is needed and offers assistance to other team members; builds and maintains constructive relationships; engages in behaviors that support working together as a team; demonstrates work flexibility for good of team regarding locations, functions, and hours

Physical Requirements -

Repetitive use of hands and fingers (e.g., Use of computer keyboard); may require lifting and carrying light loads (up to 40 lbs), including boxes, equipment, IV solutions and stooping and kneeling (e.g., to pick up items from the floor, to remove and replace items on lower shelves and to file documents in lower file drawers); sitting, walking, or standing for long periods of time may be necessary; must be able physically to operate the equipment used for the job.
