We are looking for a highly-motivated, multi-skilled Electric Vehicle Engineering Technician to join the team. Shift: 1st shift M-F

What you will do:
- Work with Industrial Design, Operations, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams to create, build, and deliver the world's best electrified premium classic vehicles.
- Assist with and/or perform electrical system builds for multiple vehicle platforms. This includes high voltage components, 12V systems, wire harnesses, sensors, controllers, and other components.
- Work with other Technician teams and Engineering to perform test and validation plans, troubleshooting, and suggest/implement fixes to ensure premium standards are always upheld.
- Lead the assembly installation of wire harnesses and other electrical components into full vehicles.
- Perform component tear-downs, benchmark assessments, and prototype/production builds of electrical components and other related hardware.
- Assist with basic programming and diagnostic work using CAN protocol and basic programming skills.
- Perform technical documentation work including drawings, BOM structures, standard work, and other administrative items.
- Document best practices, identify and implement cost saving and safety initiatives.
- Adapt and learn new technologies and harness manufacturing processes, and contribute updates to project tracking.
- Learn from others, and be willing to teach others as well. This is a team sport.
Requirements
- Preferred candidates have a 2-year Associate or Certificate in Electrical, Controls, or Test Engineering Technology or related field.
- 7+ years of build experience working with electronic systems in manufacturing/automation equipment, vehicles, aerospace, marine, and prototype/concept builds.
- High Voltage and 12V certifications are required.
- Experience with soldering, wire harness design, electrical circuits and testing, and related hardware required.
- Ability to read electrical diagrams, and select compatible components based on specifications to perform system functionality. In addition, ability to replicate vehicle systems for bench-top testing.
- Basic to intermediate capability for test controls experience using C++, Labview, Orchestra, etc.
- Be a self-starter, team team player, and a problem-solver.
- Pride in delivering high quality of work.
- A feeling of responsibility to keep things organized and clean, consistent work habits, detail oriented.
- Ability to perform on-site, physical work as typical to building vehicles.
This position is available immediately - title and compensation based on experience.
