Job Description Summary
GE Renewable Energy is looking for electronics assembly technicians who have the ability to apply knowledge of electricity by reading and interpreting blueprints, electrical drawings, and machine prints to assemble cabinets.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
- Reads and lays out diagram for electrical installations according to wiring specifications. AC/DC
- Cuts, strips, bends, and forms wire cable, conduit pope, and tubing used to connect circuits and subassemblies
- Connects color-coded wires, according to CT drawing specifications
- Point to point wiring and using crimps connectors to wire ends
- Discusses errors in diagrams or production order with supervisor or engineer to clarify assembly problems
- Performs assembly functions in accordance with Quality Control Procedures to ensure the output will meet QC and customer standards
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Electronics Engineering Technology or equivalent experience in wiring/electrical.
