About the Role:
Carla is looking for an experienced Business Controller to join our finance team in Stockholm. In this role you will report directly to our CFO and work closely with many internal stakeholders. Your role will center around cost controlling forecasting and financial analysis to support our continuous growth. In addition you will work proactively with our KPIs and develop financial models that enable us to make datadriven decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for short and long term business forecasting of P&L balance sheet and cash flow
- Participate in the monthly close and reporting and act as a driver of improvements
- Drive revenue and cost efficiency through close collaboration with our Sales Purchasing Valuation and Marketing teams
- Drive the list of improvement initiatives
- Develop business cases for new business initiatives
Concrete examples of work tasks:
- Take handson ownership of company wide P&L cash and balance sheet forecasting models and impact of company initiatives
- Update the market development and market share model
- Ensure timely financial reporting processes including thorough controlling of key metrics in close collaboration with our Accounting team
- Work closely with our Commercial teams for accurate Gross Margin and inventory forecasting/follow up
- Develop and deliver presentations to communicate findings recommendations and financial insights to management and other stakeholders
We believe that the ideal candidate has:
- 68 years of experience in financial analysis forecasting and controlling roles
- Experience from ecommerce retail or other industries with inventory and B2C exposure
- A positive mindset and a demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic fastpaced environment e.g. in scaleup rollup or turnaround situations
- An eye for details and accuracy even when things move fast
- Strong integrity and self confidence speak up challenge and raise risks
- Great communication skills ability engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization and the drive to align priorities frequently
- A natural aptness for financial modeling financial metrics and no fear of numeric complexity
- Fluency in Swedish and English
