Job description
Anne Arundel Gastroenterology Associates (AAGA), a Covenant Physician Partner, located in beautiful Annapolis, Maryland, is looking for a Fulltime Scope Reprocessing Technician to join our talented and growing team.
Please note the pay range for this position is $18-$23hr.
About the Opportunity Under general direction from the Center Manager, the Scope Reprocessing Technician is responsible for the proper cleaning and high-level disinfection and maintenance of all video endoscopes and other accessories used in the GI Endoscopy suites.
Other duties include:
- Cleans equipment and instruments used as per policy.
- Cleans and disinfects endoscopes per policy.
- Observes universal precautions.
- Refers situations beyond ability or function to proper person.
- Participates in QA/Safety Program.
About the Candidate Minimum Requirements:
- High school graduate preferred with one or more years of related work experience in gastroenterology or endoscopy.
- Able to read, write and communicate.
- Displays a primary interest in giving good patient care and maintaining standards of courtesy and friendliness to co-workers.
- Current certification in BLS.
