Remote SEO Specialist

Our company is a dynamic Digital Agency operating remotely, dedicated to delivering top-notch services in the heart of Southern California. We're seeking a skilled Remote SEO Specialist to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our Marketing and Development departments to enhance our online presence. This position offers the flexibility of remote work and operates on a contract basis. Fluency in English is a must.

Overview:

We're on the lookout for an SEO Specialist to spearhead our SEO efforts, encompassing both onsite and offsite optimization as well as keyword expansion research. While experience in Agency or Corporate settings is preferred, we welcome candidates who possess a keen analytical mindset and adept communication skills, essential for seamless collaboration across various teams. Your primary objective will be to ensure that our content is optimized for search engines, ultimately driving increased profitability for the company.

Duties:

Develop and implement effective SEO strategies tailored to our objectives.
Coordinate with content, design, social media, and PPC marketing teams to streamline activities.
Manage onsite and offsite optimization projects, with a focus on strategic link-building and outreach.
Utilize creative link-building strategies while measuring performance to gauge effectiveness.
Responsibilities include executing successful SEO strategies, conducting keyword research, addressing technical SEO issues, optimizing website content and landing pages, and directing off-page optimization projects.
Regularly collect and report data on traffic, rankings, and other SEO metrics.
Collaborate with social media and PPC teams to optimize campaigns.
Stay updated on SEO and integrated marketing trends to ensure our strategies remain relevant and effective.

Requirements:

Proven experience in an SEO Specialist role or similar position.
Thorough knowledge of standard and current SEO practices, including HTML/CSS proficiency.
Experience with SEO reporting and familiarity with tools such as Conductor, Screaming Frog, SEMRush, Moz, etc., along with web analytics tools like Google Analytics.
Ability to secure white hat backlinks from high-authority websites.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Strong organizational and leadership abilities, coupled with an analytical mindset.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
Availability for bi-weekly check-in Zoom meetings during PST mornings.

Extra Considerations:

Professional references and established industry experience are highly valued.
Experience with remote work environments and proficiency in cross-functional internal platforms like Slack, Asana, Trello, etc., are advantageous.
Candidates who can provide a portfolio or case studies showcasing past projects will be prioritized.
