Job description
Are you a Hospitalist/Nocturnist seeking to practice in a community hospital setting where you will also have the resources of an academic medical center? Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center in Windsor, Vermont, a system member of Dartmouth Hitchcock Health in New Hampshire and Vermont, is seeking a Hospitalist/Nocturnist to join their collaborative team.
What We Offer:
- 10 hour day shifts with rotating night shifts (total 13 to 14 shifts a month)
- Flexible monthly scheduling and generous CME stipend
- Day team consists of one hospitalist and one nurse practitioner
- Average daily census of 20 to 22 patients
- No ICU coverage
- Procedures experience not required
- Opportunities to mentor and teach Geisel Dartmouth College medical students
- Potential for growth into leadership roles within hospital committees, quality initiatives, and more
- Ability to consult with Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center specialists located just 30 minutes away
What We Are Seeking: - BC/BE Hospitalists in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Candidate interested in practicing in a small community setting
- Strong communication skills, leadership abilities, collaborative, and able to work independently
