Job description
This is an amazing opportunity for a Culinary Director to join an innovative & unique restaurant group expanding across the United States.
Supports Operations to maximize the effectiveness of all culinary operations. This individual will be responsible for building and developing a top-notch culinary field support team. He/She will assist with the implementation and continuous support to the operations team on menu testing, including food, product, equipment testing, and execution of food throughout our concepts. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing systems to support cost controls, sanitation, and training.
- Responsible for the ongoing training/development of the culinary team in each location.
- Contributes to the success of all food-related functions by ensuring the execution of high-quality, great-tasting food at all locations.
- Ensures that all menu, product, and equipment tests are backed by continuous feedback from the operations team.
- Leads new store openings by developing BOH teams and supervises to ensure effectiveness and success with the opening process.
- Assists in the development (and execution) of systems to help hit all BOH cost controls vs budget/plan.
- Assists in the development of recipes to ensure systems that reflect best-in-class food safety and handling.
- Works with training and operations partners to continually evolve all BOH training materials, systems, and processes.
- Always demonstrates high standards of personal excellence by continually seeking ways to improve performance and setting and working to achieve agreed-upon goals.
