Yoh has an exciting opportunity for an Onsite IT Technician in Schaumburg, IL . The role of the Onsite IT Technician involves delivering technical assistance to the organization's computers, tablets, mobile devices, network systems, and communication equipment. The position ensures prompt and polite resolution of technical issues related to hardware and software usage. The individual in this role collaborates with the Technology Department team and external vendors to provide effective customer service to various locations, including division offices, remote sites, Welcome Home Centers, construction trailers, and customer care offices. The Onsite IT Technician will be responsible for servicing sites across Chicago, Indiana and Madison, WI.

Title: Onsite IT Technician
Salary : $33/hour - $37/hour
Location: Schaumburg, IL
Type: Full time, direct hire; 100% onsite
Principal Duties and Responsibilities :
- Address and resolve software and hardware issues on computer workstations through troubleshooting.
- Utilize manufacturer's warranties for equipment repair as needed.
- Daily maintenance and updates of Service Now tickets, ensuring accurate and detailed documentation of ticket resolution.
- Collaborate with different divisions to prepare and execute project plans for installing technology equipment in Welcome Home Centers and construction trailers.
- Resolve printer and copier issues across the division.
- Coordinate technical support for meetings and events, including video conferencing and traditional audio/visual needs.
- Perform maintenance, upgrades, installations, and replacements of hardware and software as required.
- Immediately report instances of server downtime and LAN/WAN connectivity issues to the manager and helpdesk team.
- Conduct basic troubleshooting on LAN/WAN connectivity under the direction of the telecommunications or network team.
- Provide a weekly status report to the Onsite IT manager, summarizing weekly activities and outstanding issues.
- Monitor and assist in coordinating the activities of third-party support contractors.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Onsite IT Manager.
- Offer guidance, advice, feedback, and support to technicians within the organization.
- Local commuting within a 2-hour radius of the Division office and occasional travel (up to 25%) to remote offices within the United States.
- Perform any other job duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements :
- High school diploma.
- Minimum of 3-5 years or more of relevant experience.
- CompTIA A+ or equivalent IT certifications are preferred.
Physical Requirements : This position requires frequent walking, standing, climbing stairs in/around homes and properties. The Onsite IT technician must also have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move, and carry up to 50 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.
