I3 Test & Evaluation Engineer

Why This is an Exciting Role:

As a I3 Test & Evaluation Engineer at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics you will be responsible for leading the Integration of System Test activities of Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) across the GMD Element. As the System Test Integration Lead, you will be responsible for coordinating across component contracts, such as GMD Weapons Systems (GWS) and Next Generation Interceptor (NGI), to synchronize system test activities and needs for the planning and execution of testing in a lab or field environment. Additionally, you will be responsible for flowing requirements, configuration, and test objectives to the GMD Model and Simulation Lab (GMSL) in support of Element Integration Testing (EIT) as a risk reduction effort to ensure compatibility prior to testing in a STL.

You will also:

Coordinate and status SW/HW deliveries across component contractors in support of System Test events to ensure all system test venues and stakeholders are aligned
Lead coordination and planning efforts in the event of gaps in testing required to produce data in support Operational Capability Baseline (OCB) and fielding
Support EIT efforts in the GMSL through planning and execution by flowing test requirements and objectives that align to the test campaign, tracking observations during the EIT, and contributing to Daily Status Reports (DSRs)
Support the development of the EIT Pre-Mission Analysis Report
Coordinate GMSL activities with the STL that activity feeds and flow any lessons learned during EIT integration and execution
Openly communicate and collaborate across engineering and non-engineering functions

Experience and Qualifications:

To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:

Required Education and Years of Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master +3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Required Qualifications:

Active Secret security clearance or ability to apply for secret clearance
Bachelors degree from an accredited course of study
5+ years of experience in engineering
Experience coordinating across multiple product teams

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment.An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start is required.

This position requires clearing a background check and an enhanced Personal Conflict of Interest (PCI) requirements as a condition for employment.

Desired Qualifications:

Experience with the Ballistic Missile Defense System, Ground-based Midcourse Defense program and/or the Missile Defense Agency
Experience leading teams within engineering or serving as a technical lead
Experience in Test conduct and troubleshooting
Experience using Cameo System Engineering Modeling (SysML) toolset
Active Secret security clearance

Summary Pay Range:

Please note that the information shown below is a general guideline only. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

$79,000- $140,000
