Principle Analyst

The mission of the G6 Operations Division is to provide staff supervision and management of communications connectivity for NexGen, SPIRIT, and SPIRIT LITE systems, and other configurations that are enabled by GET communications. The operation of the TNCCs, the NOC, and the ITOC fall under G6/GISA Operations. G6/GISA Operations also processes requests for service of government and commercial lease circuits and manages HQ INSCOM and G6/GISA supported strategic and tactical intelligence systems. This requisition seeks to obtain professional support services that support the government in the sustainment of intelligence collection and dissemination assets vital to the security of the United States. The services and capabilities will provide responsive, flexible, adaptive, and timely solutions to satisfy current and future IT requirements. INSCOM provides the Army with a single command to conduct multi-discipline intelligence and security operations. As part of its activities, INSCOM requires support for continued operations and future development of the automated systems necessary to support the INSCOM Black Core (IBC) and Trojan Data networks (TDN).

Job Description

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

The Principle Analyst will act as liaison with the responsibility to build and maintain mutually beneficial relationships, facilitates communications, and coordinates activities among G6 other INSCOM stakeholders. The analyst is a G6/GISA representative that streamlines operational support, handles communications, coordination efforts, incident response, and conflict resolution. The Analyst is primarily responsible for deriving G6/GISA Operations requirements. The Principle Analyst will perform in a fast-paced, high-pressure environments, and must be willing to take initiative to proactively solve conflicts and address issues. Principle Analyst duties include the following:

  1. Supports operations and planning
  2. Gaither G6/GISA Operation requirements derived from engagements with stakeholders
  3. Act as an action officer for derived requirements
  4. Acts as point of contact for G6/GISA Operations
  5. Facilitates meetings and cooperation among people, directorates, and organizations
  6. Identifies problems in communications among these groups
  7. Collaborate and communicate with necessary INSCOM constituents
  8. Conduct after action when an incident is wrapped up.
  9. Prioritize work by considering its risk, importance, urgency, and potential business, organizational, and client implications
  10. Knowledge of DoD policies and procedures
  11. Interact with clients, government officials, and other executives in the private sector
  12. Verbal and written communications must be timely and demonstrate the consistent ability to present ideas and communicate information in a clear and concise manner
  13. Draft, write and edit reports, briefs, correspondence, and other documents
  14. Laisse with key internal and external stakeholders, coordinating meetings

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT related field and/or combination of experience and education.

Core Hours 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.   Monday – Friday

SECURITY 

Must possess at minimum a TS/SCI Clearance. It is preferred that candidate possess a TS/SCI with a CI Poly security clearance. Personnel must be U.S. citizens and capable of obtaining and maintaining a final TS/SCI security clearance. Additionally, all personnel will require access to NATO classified material and will require read on to NATO.
