Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repair of industrial refrigeration systems, including part replacement, with expertise in both ammonia and freon systems
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues related to refrigeration equipment
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and implement preventive measures
- Collaborate with other maintenance team members to address complex issues and ensure seamless operation
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs and replacements
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team while effectively managing multiple tasks and priorities
Requirements:
- Proven experience or schooling in ammonia and/or freon refrigeration systems
- Experience with advanced HVAC diagnosis
- Basic plumbing knowledge
- In-depth knowledge of ammonia and freon refrigeration systems
- Strong mechanical and electrical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex systems
- Familiarity with industry regulations and safety standards
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and prioritize workload effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or technical training is a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed
