Job description
City Toyota is looking to hire a full time Heavy Duty/Engine Technician that specializes in Toyota vehicles. A Toyota Heavy Duty Technician is comfortable and capable of troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical systems on Toyota vehicles.
Pay
* The Toyota Heavy Duty Technician Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $48.00 and $55.00. The position offers bonus opportunities for technicians who achieve higher than 100% productivity, that change on a monthly basis.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
- Communicate your recommendations to the service advisor clearly to ensure that customers are well-informed of any additional services or repairs
- Research and install parts needed for repairs
- Clearly document all work done as well as any necessary recommendations
- Inspect all vehicle repairs and maintenance prior to delivering to customer
- Help maintain a safe work environment and bring safety issues to the shop foreman’s attention
- Participate in required Company and equipment training
- Work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- ASE Certifications required
- Must have strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability
- Must have Ability, knowledge, and agility necessary to complete installations and/or repairs
- Valid driver's license and DMV record in good standing
- Exceptional time management skills
- CDK experience is a plus!
