Description Oversee the day-to-day operations of ESC production facility. Ensure seamless operations, adherence to safety protocols, and optimization of resources within the facility. Job Hours and Location: The Production Facility Manager reports to the Director of Operations, and will maintain a presence at the Enlightened Soil lab/office from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, M-F at the Seabrook Facility. Responsibilities: Facility & Job Expectations • Work onsite from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. • Oversee bottling, packaging, labeling, and shipping of Enlightened Soil. • Process sales orders from the Sales Team. • Maintain shipping schedules and calendars. • Order/purchase bottling & shipping supplies. • Reporting purchases/receipts to accounting. • Assist with all office-based administrative duties/requests from the Operations and Sales Team • Print labels and ensure labels are in stock. • Maintain inventory of product labels & confirm labels are up to date, and with export documents for overseas shipping. • Conducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company. • Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Education and Experience: • Must complete cell count training and bioreactor systems training • Bachelor’s Degree or higher is preferred but not required. • Two to Three years of professional experience in Production and Facilities Operations with a specific focus on aspects of production, efficiency, quality, and safety Required Skills/Abilities: • Must complete cell count training and bioreactor systems training • Bachelor’s degree preferred in business/logistics OR 12 months of logistics experience. • Candidates without a bachelor’s degree may be considered if they have 24 months of operations management and/or shipping/logistics experience. • Must be able to lift 50 lbs and operate forklift. • Must have a vehicle and a valid in-state driver’s license and clean driving record. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven negotiation skills. • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Demonstrated problem-solving skills with an ability to overcome obstacles as an individual and with group coordination. • Effective time management skills and can thrive in a team environment. • Proficient with technology and understanding of Microsoft Office applications & Zoho email. • Have a strong operational focus, analytical ability, and good judgment with high ethical standards. • Ability to communicate with all persons effectively and courteously. • Performs other duties as assigned. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Work hours/days may vary to oversee operations. • Ability to bend, twist, and squat with or without weight. • Ability to stand for extended periods of time. • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. • Must be able to operate a forklift. • Ability to operate a motor vehicle and/or other equipment necessary to the position. • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and peripheral vision. • Travel will be required. • Attend conferences, trade shows, and code seminars for continuing education. • Other travel may be necessary.
