Job description

St. Peter's Health Partners is seeking a full-time Surgical Physician Assistant to join the General Surgery team at Samaritan Hospital located in Troy, New York.

The surgical PA will work with a group of surgeons and a team of surgical PAs at Samaritan Hospital. The group specializes in General, Endocrine, and Hepatobiliary surgeries, including minimally invasive and robotic approaches.

Position Details:

• First assisting, admissions, and rounding all on the campus of Samaritan Hospital
• Blend of 2x 8-hour shifts and 2x 12-hour shifts.
• Rotating 1:5 overnight call for OR and weekends.
• Excellent opportunity for growth with training from experienced colleagues

Interested applicants should have the following:

• NYS licensure and DEA required.
• Graduation from an AMA approved program, Board Certification
• One to two years of experience required.
