Job Summary:

As a General Ledger Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in our finance team, contributing to month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes. Your responsibilities will include journal entry preparation, balance sheet account reconciliation, sales and use tax compliance, and supporting treasury functions. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with SOX requirements, provide user training on financial systems, and collaborate on acquisition integration and special projects.

Job Specifications:

- Expected Pay Range: $55,000 - $70,000
- Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time, Year Round

Key Responsibilities:

- Participate in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
- Prepare and review journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and analyze monthly fluctuations
- Conduct sales and use tax compliance, researching tax requirements
- Facilitate user training on financial systems and reconciliation policies
- Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency

Job Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2+ years of accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated with a commitment to excellence
