IT Coordinator
Contract Length: 225 days
Reports To: Principal
Supervises: Primary Role: The ideal candidate will handle basic technical support duties for the TMSA Charter Schools. The Technology Coordinator position is an exciting opportunity for a results-oriented professional to assure the efficiency and effective use of technology.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in systems engineering and management
- Information Technology experience: 1-2 years
- Public charter school experience ( plus)
Skills, Duties, and Responsibilities: - System administration experience with Windows, Mac OS, Chrome OS operating systems, and G Suite (Google) applications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to present and effectively explain technology solutions to staff in non-technical jargon
- Knowledge of standard networking equipment and design standards (voice and data)
- Coordinate and set up audio-visual equipment
- Manage the storing and re-deployment of classroom equipment around extended school breaks (winter, spring, and summer)
- Help maintain asset management systems and manage paperwork generated by equipment assignment and recovery
- Work with vendors to arrange repairs, and return repaired equipment to schools
