The Role

The successful candidate will contribute to the mission of the global data engineering function and be responsible for many aspects of data including architecture, access, classification, standards, integration, pipelines, and visualization. Although your role will involve a diverse set of data-related responsibilities, your expertise will be on architecture and data enhancements for structured, semi and unstructured data in the field of Development and Clinical data, particularly implementing automation, pipeline development and ETL for data products and ingestion of data and metadata into enterprise datalakes/catalog.

You have experience in data architecture and using tools such as Step Functions to create workflows, connect systems, enable tracking of data, implement triggers and configure programmatic accessibility to enable job automation and you will be required to share your expertise throughout the group. You feel comfortable when working in the cloud (AWS) and in your day to day work you follow the best coding practices.

Your ultimate goal will be to place data at the fingertips of stakeholders and enable science to go faster. You will join an enthusiastic, agile, fast-paced, and explorative global data engineering team.

This is a hybrid role that requires being onsite 60% of the time in Princeton, NJ.

For US based candidates, the proposed salary band for this position is as follows:

$114,375.00---$190,625.00

The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses.
