The Manager, Capacity Planning - Access Center will ensure the successful coordination and delivery of day-to-day operations for the provider template management of assigned specialty teams. This role will manage, lead, inspire and support a team of Template Administrators through mentorship, coaching and benchmarking. This role will monitor the performance of provider schedules through the use of established patient access analytics, and partner with practice operational/clinical leadership teams to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities. The Manager, Capacity Planning – Access Center will maintain the formal documents which define the build of provider templates and scheduling. In partnership with the Senior Director, Operational Excellence and Capacity Management, the Manager, Capacity Planning will execute patient access initiatives as they relate to SLPG Access Center strategies and key imperatives. The Manager, Patient Engagement will create a culture of empathy and service excellence. The Manager, Patient Engagement will facilitate engagement across practice leadership, capacity management and IT teams.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

PHYSICAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS:

Sitting for up to seven (7) hours per day, four hours at a time. Frequently uses fingers for typing, data entry, etc. Hearing as it relates to normal conversation. Seeing as it relates to general vision, near vision, peripheral vision and visual monotony when reading reports and viewing computer screen.

EDUCATION:

A bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration (or relevant major), accounting, finance or related field is required.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

A minimum of three to five years of related healthcare industry experience, with a vendor or consulting organization, or within a large provider-based delivery system. Experience managing direct reports is preferred.
